Pierce Points & Accounting
Understanding the Pierce Points economy, recharges, and subscription grants.
The Pierce Points Economy
Pierce operates on a compute-based credit system called Pierce Points. Deep financial research is fundamentally resource-intensive. Retrieving multi-year SEC filings, performing multi-step reasoning, and running advanced financial models use significant underlying compute (LLM tokens).
By using Pierce Points, we ensure the platform scales fairly. You only pay for the depth of the research you request.
- Generating simple chat replies costs very few points.
- Running complex tasks (like a full DCF valuation or scanning 5 years of 10-Ks) costs more points, proportional to the data and reasoning required.
You can view your current Pierce Points balance at any time by clicking your profile avatar in the top right corner.
